Kitsap Birth Collective hosts

Carol Gautschi, LM, CPM

Carol's topic:  "What to do - The Unexpected Breech at Home"

Carol will speak on topic and then open for Q and A and discussion.  This meeting is open to
the local birthing community:. Midwives, doulas, birth educators, chiropractors, massage therapists,
yoga instructors, L&D Nurses and anyone who supports women in pregnancy.

Carol Gautschi trained in California with, among others, Dr. Nial Ettenhausen in the 1970s and early 1980s. She has attended homebirths since 1978 and worked as a traditional midwife on Washington's Olympic Peninsula, since 1979. She is an LM, CPM
She has been blessed with seven children and has been married to Paul since 1974.

While this meeting is free of charge, we do ask that each person donate to a fund near the door in order to help us pay Carol's expenses for this trip over to Kitsap and help us with refreshments and supplies for this meeting.

Also attending will be local henna artist, Kristina Kruzan during the event.  Kristina will have her own table and donate 50% of all monies taken in back to the KBC general fund to help us continue to bring in our yearly workshops. Kristina will have a book of designs and prices. Henna designs range in price from $5 to $25 each.

KBC will provide some great free door prizes and refreshments.  Well have fantastic raffles as well. This time around we have a couple of very popular items.  The first is a Mercury Medical Infant Resuscitator and DeLee Mucus Trap with contro-vac valve valued at over $50.  The other is a set of 2 bottles of "Floradix" Supplements. The first is liquid Iron and Herbs Supplement and the second part is Calcium-Magnesium with Zinc, Herbs and Fruit. These could be to gift your pregnant clients or keep for yourself! Value of this set over $50.  Our raffle tickets are just $1 each. *Please bring plenty of $1's so we won't have to scramble to find change.  Buy one ticket or 10!

Feel free to email with questions and to pass this meeting announcement along to anyone you think may be interested. We value your help in networking KBC!

In the unavoidable case that Carol Gautschi has to attend a birth at the time of her speaking, we plan to use an alternate topic and discussion and will network and have a great time just the same.
